Learning progress through the Chess Workouts is automatically rewarded online with promotions up our ‘Thinking Belts’ ladder, as players advance from a White belt to a fourth-degree Black belt – in Thinking. Promotions are based not on competitive chess skills, but solely on successful learning.
As students advance through the levels, you can give them an extra physical reward: colored aluminum Thinking Tags keyed to their progress. Proudly hung from schoolbags as a display of achievement, these may quickly become the hottest collectibles at school.
Our Thinking Tag Starter Set contains 120 Thinking Tags, and includes 20 each of the first 5 Thinking Belt colors (taking students through Tactical and Checkmate Thinking) and 5 each of the last 4 colors (covering the last 4, more challenging Workouts), plus 20 chains.
